Who We Are

Founded in 2021, Clear Shores LLC is a locally owned lake weed removal and landscaping business based in Excelsior, Minnesota. With all three owners growing up on or near Lake Minnetonka, we understand what a lakefront means to the people who use it.

We serve residential and commercial properties with a DNR-certified team formed to give Minnesota lakeshore owners a chemical-free option for controlling invasive and unwanted weeds.

Mission Statement

Clear Shores is dedicated to protecting and preserving aquatic life and Minnesota water bodies, safely handling extracted material, cleaning equipment used during operations, and delivering work that respects every property.

Our Story

The idea began in 2018 through Minnetonka High School VANTAGE research into invasive species and environmentally responsible lake weed control. The team developed a business plan around removing unwanted weeds by the root and launched Clear Shores LLC in 2021.
